Australia Access Upgrade Code

I live in Australia and would like to upgrade to Acurite Access next gen, however the checkout system on the cart requires 1 of 3 countries only.


Can you help.

Ditto - same issue. I'd like to upgrade but live in Australia - achievable yes or no?

Hello Australian User & Gary,

To place an order on AcuRite.com the credit card must be issued in the United States or Canada. The billing and shipping address must be in the United States or Canada as well. If you have a friend that can place the order with their card and ship it to you that is what we have been recommending.  Thank you.

Thanks Jennifer but no friends in US or Canada :-( - Why would AcuRite email this coupon to Australian residents then? Seems a little misleading.

Hi - I called Acurite from NZ, paid to wait in a queue for 1 hour, and then was told by Tasha that Acurite supported Australia so if I had a billing/shipping address and a credit card from Australia I could place the order online. I then went online and stumbled into the same problem as could only pick 3 shipping options. This is made even worse by the fact I have been told by Acurite I could purchase to Australia. Can you please tell me how I can do this. Thanks.

We apologize for the misinformation. Currently to place an order on My AcuRite you would need a credit card that was issued in the United States or Canada. The billing and shipping address would need to be in the United States or Canada as well. Thank you.

Is this still the case. I got the coupon email and after I tried to order I got no where on the website. I emailed and I got an email saying I can purchase internationally using the code if I phone up. Have tried to call 5 times only to go into a wait loop. Have emailed numerous times with no reply. Have been on the current holding pattern for 46 minutes as I type this. Not too happy at this time. Seems very misleading.....

I hear you. I emailed and called numerous times and got nowhere. Ended up getting a friends friend in the US to order for me and send. The whole upgrade process has been a complete debacle - some of the worst customer service I have ever seen.

Have been number one on the waiting with an estimated wait time of one minute for 26 minutes. Now just holding to have my say

When I finally got through after 1hr42minutes Chris was wonderful. And they now ship to Australia.

Thanks Jimmy! - Maybe they should take a sneak peak at Australian Trade Practices Act.... very Misleading. Hopefully this offer and order availability will be extended to all their Australian customer that were mislead by the upgrade email..
