Another customer with a bricked 09150TRX AcuLink Bridge from the migration.

A few months ago the migration happened and I never really thought anything of it until I realized my bridge wasn't responding. I had tried troubleshooting it around that time. But didn't really know why it wasn't working until a few weeks ago when I saw on the forums that other people had the same issues about their bridge being bricked.

I saw and tried all the troubleshooting steps that AcuRite employees were suggesting and nothing worked. My bridge doesn't connect to the router or show that it is receiving data from my 5-in-1, which I know works from the PC Connect display that came with it. I hope the software engineers do more testing on all versions of their products so this issue and all the frustration doesn't keep happening. It's just a suggestion but what do I know about being in their shoes.

If an AcuRite employee does read this, all I would like is for another bridge to be sent so I can get my weather data back online. Because buying another one for $70 is a little insane when I can make a bridge for less, that can do more.

I forgot to mention I have tried adding it to the new "My AcuRite" but not surprisingly says "Device must be registered and be reporting to claim it".

I've got the same problem but when I plug mine into the jack, sometimes the light illuminates but mostly it doesn't, if the light illuminates, then somehow it causes my internet connection to be lost, can't figure it out.

Hello KC1CWM,

What are the lights on the smartHUB doing?  The lights should function as follows: The left blue light is a network status light. It should flash for 1 second each time a reading is sent otherwise it will be steady. The right hand light should be solid steady. If the lights are working correctly, please try the following steps:

1. Go to settings and click devices.

2. Enter your device ID and zip code.

3. Enter your address information where the smartHUB is located.

4. Select if you want the station pressure which is a raw pressure you can calibrate, or the adjusted pressure which is a calibrated pressure based off your altitude.

5. Click Save.

6. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and add your sensors.

**Note it make take a little bit of time before your sensor information comes up.

If this doesn't correct the problem, please power down your router, and smartHUB. Unplug the Ethernet cable from the router as well. Keep them unplugged for about 2 minutes. After the 2 minutes power up the router, and wait for it to get online. Once online go ahead and plug the Ethernet cable in, and power up the smartHUB. Try the steps above. If this doesn't correct the problem, please let us know. Thank you. Enjoy your day!

Hello Ed,

What are the smartHUB lights doing? Are you getting an error message on My AcuRite when you try to add the smartHUB? Is the smartHUB plugged directly into the router or are you using a port or switch?  What is the model number of your smartHUB? Thank you. Enjoy your day!

I have the same problem. Back in October you sent me a new smartHUB (Model 09150M) that I'm just now trying to get running. I plugged it into my router, powered it up, got two steady blue lights on the side and when I pressed the Register button, both side lights went out and nothing has happened since.

After reading several other posts, I found one where you recommended holding the Register button for 10-12 seconds. I did that and the side lights re-appeared. All is working as it should be now. Thanks.
