All Time Rainfall not updating

During the last two rainfalls (~2 weeks), the All-Time Rainfall reading on my 01036 is not updating although the Current Rainfall seems to be working.
Does this mean, that after just over a year in use, that my 01036 is "expiring"?
Thank  you in advance for any helpful information.

Hello Dale,

What kind of batteries are you using in the display console? Have you tried to reset the display console? If not we would  recommend trying to perform the factory reset. To do so press the pinhole reset button located next to the battery compartment for 10 seconds. If this occurs again after performing the factory reset please let us know. Thank you.

Thank you for your reply and information.
In the display console I have Energizer batteries plus the AC power. I did reset the display and after the rainfall a couple days ago, the all-time rainfall now seems to be working again. However, it seems that all my data has now been lost.

Hello Dale,

If you reset the display by removing the unit from power and remove the batteries, it will erase all historical data and restart the learning mode.

I have a similar problem, my all-time rainfall valued pegged at 99.99 just posted a bit more info.  My comment/question here to your reply is wouldn't resetting the display cause all values to zero out starting all over again?

Resetting did seem to solve the problem. I wonder if there may be an amount which serves as the limit for the instrument.

Hello Arlene and Dale,

The display will top out the readings at 99.99 for rainfall.  The display will need to be reset. To do so, press and hold the reset button for 10-12 seconds or until the display clears completely.  Note, this will clear all historical data.  Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you.
