Adding additional sensors to Wunderground

I'm a new owner of an Acurite 5-in-1 Pro weather station.  I set things up the other day, but don't have it in the final mounting site yet.  Since this will be mounted on my roof and the recommended height for temperature sensors is about 6 feet, I purchased an additional temperature sensor to mount closer to the ground.

MyAcurite is displaying the temperature through both the 5-in-1 and the additional sensor.  I've read here that I can show the new sensor on the display.  However, I would like the temperature from this sensor to be the one that is sent to wunderground.  In MyAcurite, only the 5-in-1 sensor is showing under the Share tab.  I would think that I would be able to hit Add to add another sensor, but that's not an option.

Is there a way that I can set up MyAccurite to send the temperature from this new sensor to Wunderground in addition or instead of the 5-in-1 sensor?

Acurite currently does not provide a way to "mix-and-match" what sensor data is sent to wunderground.  It can only send that data from one sensor device.

There are some 3rd-party products that can do that, though if you happen to be using a SmartHUB. Meteobridge is an example.  However, these products and programs likely won't work with the newer Access product unless they are updated to support the Access... and that might prove difficult.

That's what I was afraid the answer would be.  I made sure that I got the model that had the SmartHub so I wouldn't need to leave a computer running 24/7.  If I have to run a different app, that kind of defeats the purpose of the SmartHub.

I did a lot of research before buying this weather station.  Now that I have it, I'm finding some minor issues that are just a pain in the butt.

Hello Gregory,

George is correct. You are only able to transmit 1 sensor per device to Wunderground. Please let us know if there is anything we can assist you with.
