Can I add a second wind speed sensor in a different area of my yard and tie it into a 5 in 1 system? If so what part number.

Rick  more info needed to answer your question properly. Quick answer is yes you can do whatever you want but if you want it to work and how you want it to work needs some questions answered. Are you using a display or a smarthub / access unit?  Do you report to weather underground or My acurite? They only sell two wind speed sensors the 5 in 1 and a 3 in 1 they both will work depending on what you want it to do. You can only send info from 1 sensor to weather underground.

Well I just ordered a 5 in 1 weather station from Amazon and I have a due to the lay of my land have a great variance in wind speed. I would like to have a second wind speed sensor for my use as opposed to reporting to weather underground. The unit I ordered was an 02064

Ok Rick I see your are going with a PC connect unit not knowing what your other system is I'm guessing it also reports to a display. The displays only receive one sensor. If you purchased the access unit and just a second 5 in 1 sensor you could see both sensors on your phone.

Cool! What would the part number be for the sensor? That’s what I have not been able to do.

You could buy this but it is out of stock at the moment  https://www.acurite.com/weather-environment-system-907wes.html
or you could just buy the Access https://www.acurite.com/access-my-acurite-remote-monitoring.html
looking at cost the first is your better choice   but it also looks like the Access unit is out of stock.

So if the display, which is what I would likely use the most, can only receive input from one weather station then I basically need two weather stations to get two wind measurements and would need to purchase a second weather station. That said, is there a wind speed only (less expensive) weather station that ties into my phone and/or computer?

Rick if you are looking for speed alone and don't need the direction a 3 in 1 sensor will work  https://www.acurite.com/3-in-1-sensor-temperature-humidity-wind-speed-3n1txc-06008rm.html but again if you are looking to monitor both the Access unit is the way to go it can monitor up to 7 compatible sensors at the same time and put them online so you can see them all on the computer or smartphone otherwise you need a display for each sensor.
