When attempting to log into AcuLink-My Backyard Weather, I receive the following message:
"Your connection is not secure

The owner of acu-link.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website."

Suggestions?

Try it again.  It might just be a transient thing.

It's working OK from my end.

Thank  you George for the response. Unfortunately, I'm continuing to get the same response every time I attempt to log in to "My Backyard Weather."

As I've been constantly losing signal recently (have no idea why), I haven't bothered much with the AcuRite website in the last few months so therefore, I was using the same address from a few months ago, which worked fine then.
However, with the failure now, the change of address seems to have cured the problem, at least for now.

The problem is that AcuRite's Security Certificate is out of date with their website.  This is an issue they should be taking care of but apparently haven't for the past week or two.  If you are offered the option to open the webpage (with a risk warning), it is actually safe to do since we know the site.  I've been doing this since the problem arose.

Hello Dale,

We looked at your my AcuRite account and see you are losing connection.  Where do you have the smartHUB placed? Is it connected directly into your router or are you using a switch of any kind?  If you are using a switch, please connect directly into your router.  Please pull the smartHUB away from your router as far as possible and in the direction of the sensor if possible.  Please leave the HUB at the new location for at least two days for the signal strength to register. Please let us know if this issue continues. Thank you.

Hello M B,

We no longer use Acu-Link.   To view your information online at this point you should be using www.myacurite.com The Acu-Link system and site have been retired.
