Acurite system STOPS Reporting to Myacurite Dashboard and to WeatherUnderground

Pro+ 5-in-1 (06014M), HD Display (06058M), AcuRite Access (09155M). I have only had this system for a month, setup initally and seemed to work okay. However, at least once a week it stops reporting to the Internet (Myacurite dashboard) and to Weather Underground. Everything looks okay, 5-in-1 reports to my HD Display correctly, the AcuRite Access blue light is ON and my router indicates that the AcuRite Access is connected. I CANNOT SEEM TO LOACATE THE ISSUE CAUSING the Alert reporting of "Loss of signal" since the Alert ONLY SEEMS TO BE OCCURING WITH THE INTERNET AND MYACURITE WEBSITE/DASHBOARD. I also cannot figure out why after 12 or more hours it starts reporting correctly until the next "loss of signal" alert. What is going on?????? This morning (2/12/18 1:59am) received a "loss of signal" alert again. Everything on my end (sensor, display, acurite access) appears to be working correcctly and MYacurte website/dashboard indicates it gets "refreshed" HOWEVER, the temp and other information reported on the website DOESN'T MATCH WHAT IS BEING REPORTED ON MY HD DISPLAY IN THE HOUSE. Also, THE INFORMATION IS NOT BEING PASTED ON TO WEATHER UNDERGROUND.

I am really starting to regret purchasing from AcuRite this system........

Ok, I just unplugged my HD Display (06058M) and then replugged it in.....The display is indicating a VERY STRONG WIFI SIGNAL, and it sees the 5-in-1, however, no sensor info is being reported, i.e., winds speed, temp, pressure, etc. What is going on with this system?????

3 hours later the Display was NOT connecting/receiving info/signal from the 5-in-1. In frustration I did a Factory Reset on the Display and within a minute it connected and started reporting.......HOWEVER I LOST ALL DATA RECORDED OVER THE LAST TWO WEEKS......This is unacceptable performance of the whole system.....especially if I keep losing the signal and the have to do a Factory Reset every time to reconnect......BTY batteries used in the 5-in-1 are NEW Lithium batteries and only 3 weeks old. When I reconnected the signal strength reading is as high as it can go.......5-in-1 is on the roof only about 27 feet from the Display and 20 feet from the AcuRite Access.

1/12/18 After the Factory Reset, wifi signal, from 5-in-1 was full until after 8pm, then the signal dropped and was lost., and has not come back......what is going on? The batteries are new Lithium,as suggested, and they have been in the unit for only 15 days. I will get on the roof and replace the batteries, HOWEVER IF BATTERIES ARE ONLY LASTING around 2-3 weeks in this 5-in-1 THERE IS A BIG PROBLEM/DEFECT.

2/13/18 No signal before or after doing a Factory Reset on Display Unit. Purchased new Energiser ULTIMATE Lithium batteries & will climb on roof and replace the batteries (note: batteries in unit are currently Energiser ULTIMATE Lithium) ....... we shall see how long these batteries last.

Jim, is it that the receiver in the Access is not sensitive enough to consistently pick up the signal?

I know some electronic devices have much better receivers than others, which I have experienced with my Wi-Fi (my Samsung Tab 3 tablet has a much better wifi receiver than my wife's Apple iPad mini...... The Samsung can be out in our back yard and still get a strong connection to my access point whereas the iPad mini can't ....wife gets upset because she can't sit outside and be on the internet. I just tell her she should gave gone with a Samsung android tablet.......she doesn't appreciate my comment since she is a die-hard Apple fan. :)

4:43pm - temp dropped to 45F, signal strength from 5-in-1 is now 0.

5:06pm - temp outside is now 44F and 5-in-1 has stopped transmitting.....no signal....

Are you losing signal on your 5in1 display or to My AcuRite?  What is the model of your display?  Thank you.

I’m having an issue very similar to this one but also a bit different. Instead of it going on and off, it works with he HD display. However the “MYACURITE” app only halfway works. The forecast works and I think the information on the bottom works. However the top part doesn’t work. I’ve gone ahead and screenshotted the data and it will be attached. You can see the top part is not consistent with the bottom part. P.S. the charts also don’t work. However the forecast does work. Thank you for your help.

Hello Jim,

Looking at your account I can see the Access went offline on 2/18/18. Have you seen any gaps in data since then? Have you received any alerts since?  I do not see any alerts after the 18th on your account. Thank you.
