AcuRite SmartHUB End of Service Spain Shipping

I bought an Acurite Weather Station Set from Amazon in late December. I was specially interested in the Smart Hub function of the set.
Just one month after receiving it in Spain, where I live, I receive the email with the information that you will be cancelling the service.
Of course I tried to use the (wonderful) discount code to purchase the new hub, but to my surprise you don't ship to Spain.
Great. Can you tell me what are my options now, before throwing it all to the garbage can?

Yes so we can all get what's needed to make our equipment useful again without being robbed for $130 plus shipping and import duties

Actually I will have to spend $ 80 if I can use the code in Amazon.
So far I have been using the Hub for 35 days. Great!

Hi, I'm in the same situation, I live in Italy and bought the SmartHub in the last days of December. I think it's unacceptable that after 8 months it will stop working, here in europe we have 2 years of warranty, but even in the US there is at least 1 year. I pretend a bigger discount through Amazon to have the new hub delivered to Italy.

I use their hub for 3 years here in Brazil... I cannot buy the new bridge in their site, nor use the discount code on Amazon. I'm pissed off and after reading bad comments about the new product, I'm really thinking of jumping ship.

I spoke with a Rachell from AcuRite the other day. She told me there was no point in troubleshooting my pc connect because that product is being discontinued. We are forced to use just the Access. I bought my display specifically for pc connect. I will be looking into a different company. Screw AcuRite.

Being a person who has tried dealing with their warranty and customer service I assure all of you that acurite does not care about our situations, problems or issues. They are quickly becoming the next microsoft! To heck with EVERYONE who has spent their hard earned money, lets make our newest product do the EXACT same things but NOT backward compatible. That way we can force everyone who has already got on board to spend more $$$ from the SAME technology, only newer!! That makes them acu-soft then rite?

I'm in the same situation. I bought my smart hub 7 months ago, and I have it installed in Portugal. Now they gave us a discount code, that I tried to use (luckily, I have family in the US to give them an US address), but then.... WHAT A STUPY THING.... They don't accept my Credit Card because is not from the US..... this company is the worst company I have ever experience until now. Probably I will throw everything from them to the garbage, and make in every way bad marketing to them. They don't really care about their customers.

I just don't understand why they cannot lift the international shipping restrictions for a while, while they sort this big mess out, people are annoyed about having to pay to keep their equipment operating but then even more annoyed when they can't even purchase the items needed rendering their equipment redundant!!
