Acurite PC Connect - Recover data after crash

Hi there,

I have gotten an Acurite 5-in-1 with PC connect a few weeks. I use the Acurite PC Connect program (latest version) to download the data from the indoor unit once every week. The program crashes randomly for some reason (I gave a HP laptop with Windows 7), but the real problem is that all data seems to be lost after the crash.
So, could you tell me if there is anyway to recover the historical data in the indoor unit?

Hello Hieu,

There is no way to recover the historical data. When you say it crashes do you get an error message. If you attempted to transfer the data from the display and the transfer was not successful the data would be lost.

Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for the reply. I've realized that the app tend to crash more frequently if it lost the focus (i.e. if I click somewhere outside the app window during the transfer). 
Meanwhile, it is not a good experience to have the data loss without any option to recover. As an electronic engineer , I believe there should be no difficulty in implementing circular buffer to allow reading historical data multiple times. Hopefully Acurite will consider that feature in the next update/upgrade.
