AcuRite Connect works but will stop working under Windows 10

The AcuRite Connect version 1.1.9 works on startup with my model 02064C professional weather center and with Weather Underground for half a day or so and then stops.  The AcuRite Connect Software hangs and will not close (none of the buttons work).  I am running connect in compatibility mode (win8) and as a administrator under windows 10.  How do I fix my issue?

Hi Bill,

We currently do not support Windows 10.  If you are still experiencing problems, we recommend switching to our PC Connect software.  You can download that software through the following link.

Please help. Thanks

Hello Bruce,

What is the model number of your weather station? What version of the PC Connect software are you using? Are you using Windows or Mac? What operating system are you using on your computer? Please elaborate on the problem you are experiencing. Thank you.

Hello Bernard,

What version of Windows 10 are you using? For this to continuously transmit you need to keep the display plugged into the computer at all times. The Pc Connect software needs to be downloaded and running at all times. The computer needs be on and online at all times. It can not go into sleep mode as it will stop transmitting.  Can you verify that your computer is not going into sleep mode?

Windows version1709. This is really annoying!
Also, I can't get it to stop shutting off  - I mean it stops sending CSV files to the AcuRite folder - usually at midnight. And yes, I keep the box ticked to keep it falling asleep.

Hello Bernard,
Have you checked your computer settings to verify your computer is not going to sleep? Yes, the box should stop this from happening however, some computer settings will bypass the check box. Thank you.
