Acurite connect is stuck on :"Sending....."

I have just installed my new weather station (model 01036/351543) and all is good with it connecting to the laptop, but when I do the setup in Acurite-Connect and put in my mac address (twice) and hit 'send', it just says 'sending.....' and has been that way for hours....I tried again and same thing.  MyBackYardWeather will not allow me to continue as it doesn't recognize the mac address.....please help!

Hi TimH,

Please let us know what the last 6 digits of your Mac address is.  Once we have that we can do a force registration on our end.  Thank you

Well, it appears that the problem 'fixed' itself.  I rebooted the laptop a few times and it did some windows updates, and now is functioning well.  Thank you to Acurite support (spent about an hour on the phone troubleshooting).  A+ for customer service!
