Acurite Access trouble connecting

I have followed the instructions that came with the Access (model number 09155M) I have batteries in, I am connected to the router, the lights are flashing the Access light is sold blue.... but when I try to replace my connection device, it keeps giving me the error...
  • Device must be connected and reporting data to claim. Please make sure the device is connected to your router and the status lights are blinking.
I have tried calling the help number on the instruction manual.... wrong number, try this number... when I got through, I was number 22 on the waiting list for technical help.  So I left my number and waited for a call back - no call.  There is no where to email, no online chat to get help - very frustrating.
I would love to have some help to get this thing up and going.
Thanks,
Mindy

Thanks for the response...
I am trying to install an access, but before I was just using PC connect, but then decided it didn't like having it plugged in and computer on all the time... so I wasn't connected, but i just bought access, but I have tried all those directions and I am getting no where!

Have you gotten anywhere Mindy? This is the same issue I'm having with mine, it's on my network and I can get to it's web page to add my WU information and save/reboot it. Yet I still get that error message when trying to add it to my account.

No I haven't, spoke with 2nd tier technical support. They had me reboot everything and press's reset. Access appears on my router but they can't find it to add it. My case is now off to the developers to find a solution. It took a long time to get to talk to someone as the wait list is
Usually 20 people deep when you call for technical support.

I was just able to get mine working, I hadn't installed the batteries in my 5n1 sensor. I found another guy with same issue and it's because there has to be a sensor REPORTING to it before it will connect online..... Wow.... So about 2 minutes after the Access could see my sensor I was able to hit the green next button and it loaded right up.

Hello Robert,
We are happy to hear you were able to connect your Access. You are correct. The Access needs to SEE a sensor to be able to register online.  Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you.
