Acurite 5 in 1 with dual panels. Night time temp way to low. Day time temp way to high. Ongoing problem for awhile now. I reset it by removing the batteries from the sensor suite and removing all power from the display. That worked for about a week. Also I used fresh lithium batteries. I have had this station since October 2015.

Any suggestions on what else I should try as I have been all through the message boards trying stuff.

Example: All nearby surrounding stations are reading 74. I am at 81. Less than a tenth of a mile from the nearest station.

This is not unusual. Many of us have found our temps to be high in the daytime. At night, I am not sure what you mean by "Way too low". The motor that drives your aspirator is where your problem lies in the daytime. It must be working just right, or you will have too high a reading. If you like to tinker, you may can try a couple of drops of thin oil on the motor shaft, and on the upper side on the inlets. You will need to take the unit apart really deep into it though to be able to do that. You may also qualify for replacement if you check for debris or spiders on or around the fan blades and check whether the fan starts and stops on it's own when in contact with direct sun.

It's under warranty so guess I will contact acurite and see what's up. The overnight temp always reads up to 10 degrees lower than nearby stations as well. Only time the temp is normal is during the day when it's cloudy.
