Acu-Link Internet Bridge 09150TRX won't Register properly.

After pressing Register button for 5 sec.

Bridge conditions -

Left blue LED = flashes 1x/sec.

Right blue LED = Solid on

Network – Green = Solid, Orange = Activity

When I go to Internal Web Page, I can see the following –

Web Bridge Current

Application Version 224

Boot Firmware Version 104

Bridge Mac Address  24C86Exxxxxx

Five In One Weather Station

Identifier   Battery Status  Signal Strength (low 0--4 highest)

581           nominal            2

1176         nominal            2

All look normal here.

Bridge MAC address is properly set up in My Acu-Rite, my AcuRite smartHUB, Device ID:

I have also tried changing my router settings to forward FTP port 80 as suggested in another post.

Also tried resetting bridge by holding register button for 30 seconds.

Seems to be an issue with bridge.

Hello Frits,

When you go to register the device do you get an error message? Is the smartHUB plugged directly into the router, or are you using a port or switch? Please try the following steps:

The lights should function as follows: The left blue light is a network status light. It should flash for 1 second each time a reading is sent otherwise it will be steady. The right light should be solid steady. There should be an amber light in the back that is flashing where the Ethernet is plugged in. The green light should be solid. Please power down the smartHUB and router for 2 minutes. Unplug the Ethernet cord from the back of the router. After the 2 minutes power up the router. Wait for it to come back online. Once online go ahead, and plug in the Ethernet cord, and power up the smartHUB. Try to register the device online once this is complete. If you are not able to get it to register please provide a copy of the internal page of the smartHUB on this thread. Thank you.

It turns out that it looks like it had been working all along. The issue was that I was looking for the correct LED(s) response as stated in the installation doc. It states in step 5 that the blue LED on the left (Status light 1) should (Faint Blinking) Don't know what this is intended to mean but It should probably read (Slow Blink) as the LED does not change brightness. It also says that the right blue LED (Status light 2) is steady. It was always in this state (steady on), so I was assuming that it was downloading the latest software updates, or that it was stuck trying, or could not connect back to your server. In the end, the right blue LED (Status light 2) ends up being always steady on and the status LED 1 blinks once for every out door sensor being monitored. In my case it flashes off twice briefly since I have two out door sensors. This is how it works for me. It may be that the last firmware up date changed the way the two status LED's operate.
So being that my bridge has the following - Application Version 224 - Boot Firmware Version 104 .
This is the way the LED's now operate. So when I select Acu-Link Internet Bridge in the (My Acurite) app. I'm able to remotely read everything properly.

Hello Andrew,
We understand you have tried troubleshooting steps, we want to ensure all troubleshooting has been exhausted. Please power cycle your smartHUB and router. To do this, you will unplug your Ethernet cable from the router then the adapter for the HUB. After this you can unplug your router. Please leave them unplugged for about 5 minutes. When you plug them back in plug the router in first and let it completely boot up, then you can plug the Ethernet cable into the router after that the adapter. Try to add your device to My AcuRite by clicking the plus tab at the top of the page. I can see your My AcuRite account and do not see the smartHUB registered. Has this smartHUB ever been registered to My AcuRite?  Please let us know if you continue to have issues. Thank you!

Hello Rachell. I tried these steps and am not able to register the device. It only has 2 solid blue lights on the sides, 1 solid green and 1 flashing orange on the network connection.

I’ve never registered it with My AcuRute. Only have had it registered with Acu-Link.
