Acu-link disconnect

The bridge upgrade failed on my bridge, I have only one blue light and its not flashing.  Tried resetting it, etc.  Also, my account is messed up somehow.  I can't log on, but I also can't recreate it because it says the device is in use. The MAC is 24-c8-6e-01-88-23.  Can you reset the account so I can start over?  Also what should I do about the bridge?  Can I get a replacement?

We show that mac address is in use by someone else? Did you provide your mac address to anyone? Please check the bottom of your smartHUB and make sure the mac address is correct with what you posted. What city and state are you located in?  Thank you. Enjoy your day!

Hi Jennifer,

The bridge belongs to Ellis
Bassetti (*******@gmail.com).  I gave it to him and am trying
to help him sort this out since he is not very tech savvy.

We have two problems:

1.      
The bridge is not working after
the firmware upgrade

2.      
Ellis’ Acu-Link account is
corrupt (or possibly the credentials are forgotten)

Whatever you can do to help out
will be much appreciated.

The bridge is located in Cambria,
CA.

Hello Bob,

We would recommend checking with your friends spouse if he has one. It is registered under someone with that last name and is transmitting online. You will not use Acu-Link anymore as it has retired. You would access this information via www.myacurite.com Thank you. Have a good day!

Hi Jennifer,

Ellis' wife is named Susan/Susie. She is no more tech savvy than Ellis.

Is the myacurite account working and does it have the bridge connected?  I'm surprised because only one blue light is on and it's not flashing.

Can you advise Ellis (or his spouse) on how they can log on and or reset the password?

His email is *****@gmail.com.  Susie's email is ******@yahoo.com.

Hello Bob,

Their My AcuRite account is working and transmitting. The lights should function as follows: The left blue light is a network status light. It should flash for 1 second each time a reading is sent otherwise it will be steady. The right hand light should be solid steady. Hi Jennifer, I am with my friends now.  They did not receive any email from you and still cannot logon to the Acu-link site. 

Can you confirm the email address and recheck to see if  you sent info on how to log on and reset their password.

Sorry, but this is very frustrating for them.

The account is under the email you had provided for Susan.  If she does not know the password she should be able to use the Reset Password option under sign in.  The smartHUB is up and running at this time. Please let us know if you have any questions.  Thank you and have a great day!
