You have To take out moisture from the Maine unit till it seams accurate that is the Maine problem I'm having since the forecast is for the future and not present makes it hard to get it right also make sure the geo region is set to your location I hope that helps

Hi Don,

Please make sure you have the correct geo zone selected. What state do you live in? You can reset the display when your local barometric pressure is at 29.92.  If this does not correct the problem, please contact AcuRite customer support at 877-221-1252.  Have a good day!

Mine does the same thing. Since the beginning it shows every day 100% rain. Also the pressure on the bridge on the aculink shows 29.96 and my physical display shows 29.68 and does not seem to change.

Hi Keith,

The barometric pressure on My Backyard Weather and the display may differ slightly as the readings are coming from two different devices.  You may need to adjust your GEO Zone on the display to a different location.  Each GEO zone can have microclimates that can alter the forecast, sometimes selecting a different GEO Zone can correct the forecast and barometric pressure inaccuracy.  If this does not resolve the issue, please contact AcuRite Customer Support at 877-221-1252.  Have a great day!

Mine almost constantly shows rain in the forecast. I've had it over 30 days now. It hasn't rained in weeks and the forecast in the news is 0% for the next 7 days. You mention selecting a GEO zone, how do you do that? I have my city/state in my profile.

Hello Chris,

On the display unit for the model 02007, there is a GEO Zone button under the battery compartment cover.  This will change your location to the display.  Please verify you are in the correct Geo Zone.  Thank you and have a great day!

Hello Josh,

If your unit is still reading incorrect we would recommend resetting the display when your local barometric pressure is at 29.92.  Please let us know if the issue continues.  Thank you and have a great day!

Hello Josh,

If you have followed the recommended troubleshooting and this still has not corrected the issue, we would move on to warranty.  This unit does have a one year warranty.  When was the unit purchased?  Thank you and have a great day!

Hello Josh,

Where do you live? If you live in a unique climate where extreme change in weather daily, the unit does have a hard time learning the weather patterns for your area and will show rain more often then it will actually rain. This only affects a small amount of our customers.  Please let us know if you have any other questions.  Thank you and have a great day!

My model is 01536 / 8900123. Per the instruction manual there is only an A-B-C switch. The manual says nothing about a GEO zone.

I hate to ask a stupid question, but if the display is unplugged, how will I know what the local pressure is? They never mention it on the newscasts.

Hello Chris,

You can check a local new source online such as Weather.com. You can also go on Weather Underground and type in your zip code, and it will display the local stations in your area. Thank you. Have a good day!

Hello Austin,

If you unplug or lose connection to your weather station you will lose any stored information in the display. Thank you. Enjoy your day!
