Accurite Access not getting data from station

I upgraded from a smarthub to the Acurite Access.  Data is getting from the sensors (5 in 1) to my Weather Center (01512).  I am not getting data relayed to my Access.  The light on the front is steady blue.  I thought it may need some time to get it all going, but it has been more than a week with no data communication.  I have unplugged both to reset, but that does not seem to work.  Can someone help me so I can use my Acurite away from home?

Thanks Ledrak.  I have tried that and I did get information for a brief time when I initially installed.  I have not had any data sent to the dashboard in quite some time.  the dashboard indicates that it is getting info from the Access, but the access is not getting data from the indoor Weather Center.  Thanks again!!

The display does not transmit data it is only a receiver as is the Access, the sensors are the transmitters. So if you want indoor temp and humidity you would need to purchase another sensor. The Access can monitor up to 7 compatible sensors.

so my problem is the access is likely not close enough to the sensors?

that's possible, after you set up the Access you made sure your sensors were added to your dashboard?

They were, but I think I had them inside for maintenance.  I moved my access 5 feet and now receiving data.......jeez.  Apparently the antennae on the hub made for better reception than the Access.  I made a simple problem complicated.
Thanks Ledrak.

The Access has a way better antenna than the SmartHub.  While I have not seen the 'Polar', I can tell you that the directional fussiness of the SmartHub is no longer there. You still need to consider placement when shielding (high attenuation) materials (metal, stone, brick) are present in the line of sight path

Well glad you have it going again, the Access antenna is suppose to be better but who knows.
