Accurite Access not connecting to internet - red light flashing

I am having a problem with my newly installed Acurite Access. It worked when I first connected it to my router, but the next day, the red light was blinking and it was not reporting the sensor data to my phone. I unplugged it, removed the batteries, and plugged it back in, but the red light is still flashing. I disconnected it from the router, rebooted the router and then reconnected the Access. Still get the red light blinking. I went to the IP address of the router and did not see it as a connected device. The Acurite Access is connected via wire to the router. It is an Xfinity router model DPC3941T. Everything else on the router is functioning correctly. The display connected to my 5 in 1 weather station is still reporting correctly.

I'm having the same issue - the Access lost access this morning. The red light is blinking.

I powered it off and back one, same issue. The ethernet port light on the router never comes on.

My smart hub never had issues. They made me buy this one for $45 and it won't connect at all. What the hell.

Hello K Patrick,
We were not able to locate an account under your name on My AcuRite. What is the blue light in the front and the amber and green lights on the back doing? What is the make and model of your router? When you log into your router, do you see the Access on your client list? What exactly is the issue you are having? Thank you.

They are not gonna support the old one soon anyway.  Mine connects but sporadically blinks red - the old one worked perfectly.

Mine is now doing the same thing also. Red light blinking no matter what I do. How do I go about returning the item?

My smartHUB still going strong. Please don't nix it next year or at least till the Access can work reliably.

It finally started working again, but I would still like to return it as it still won't reconnect after a short power outage.

So, you only tell how to solve the problem in private?  Many of us are having the same problem, blinking red light, active data light but no connection... how do we fix it?
