Access Went Insane

So, my Access went crazy today.  Reported a temp of 132F before freezing up completely and stopping reporting.  I unplugged it and pulled the batteries and it seems to be feeling a bit better now.

But now I am stuck with a ridiculous data spike in my Acurite dashboard, as well as WU.

Also, I switched to my Access exactly 2 weeks ago.  And while issues with data gaps seem to have gone, I haven't passed the WU gold star test since.

So, any way to remove this bad data?  And any advice on how to get in WU good graces post Access install?

132°? Sounds like you almost went to Hell and back... :)
I don't know of a way to edit WU data other than setting up a new station, but you would lose all historic data.

I honestly had to look at the station to make sure it wasn't on fire! LOL

But my physical dashboard display unit never showed that data point and received correct data the whole time.  I assume it gets its feed direct from the station and that is why I rebooted the Access.

You are supposed to be able to delete bad data from WU, as follows.
Select the table tab (next to the graph tab).
Just below and to your right, select edit.
Now select the bad readings and then click on the delete n points button.

All that said, this used to work for me, but now as soon as I come back to the page, all the bad data is back.

Ya, I have the same issue.  I can tell it to delete the row.  It is just one data point.  But once you go back the data returns.

Hello Adam,
We apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced.  We would recommend power cycling the Access (as you have done) and keeping an eye on the unit to see if this happens again. Did you notice a high reading on your display too or only online? Unfortunately, the data cannot be removed from My AcuRite.  However, we appreciate the feedback and will certainly keep this in mind for possible future updates. Thank you.
