Access Upgrade

When will we receive out Access Upgrade Codes? I signed up for the Access Upgrade on December 13th. In the email, it said that we would receive a special code the first week of January. I see that the Access is available, but I have yet to receive a discount code.

I received one today too.  I'd like to know if the internal antenna is better than the previous items ("internet bridges") though.  I have 2 (bridges) and they are really weak on signal reception.  The wall mounted displays (the 2 I have anyway) seem to get a lot better and consistent signal than the internet bridges.  Just put a good antenna in the internet bridge things (including Access) already!

It's a "cleaner" antenna.... a vertical helical.



You can't compare bars on a display and SmartHUB/Access, though.  SmartHUB/Access give you an actual RSSI value the relates to signal quality.  The displays just tell you if you're missing data or not through the subtraction of bars.

Just got mine, too! Today must have been the day! If I upgrade to an Atlas Elite, will that make the Access obsolete?

I just ordered one of the new hubs using the code in the email I got.

Is there any chance I could order another one at the reduced price to replace the first one I had that got bricked by that firmware upgrade a couple of years ago. I didn't have time to go back and forth on getting it going again, so I just went and bought another one.
