I'm running a smart hub and access for a couple of months now, both working fine. Today Access lost connection to 5 in 1 sensor, but old smart hub still connected and getting data with strong green bar. Is there a server problem? Is my Access defective? Something else?
Do you continue to have this issue? If so, when your Access goes offline, does the sensor come back online by itself or do you have to do a power cycle to get it back up and running? I see you are sending to Weather Underground, do you lose connection to WU as well? What building material is between the Access and the sensors? Do you have the Access within 3 feet of any major electronics, router and smartHUB included? If so, please move the Access away from the electronics as far as the Ethernet cable will allow you.
It's really bizarre. The connections seem to come and go, and according to the app on my iPhone fluctuate from Excellent to Poor and all levels in between several times each day. Both my Access and my Smart Hub are more than 3 feet away from other electronics and each other, have good gigabit connections, and seem to vary independently. Like right now my Access is reporting excellent signal strength, my Smart Hub is reporting weak, but they could (and often do) flip flop any minute. Also I generally get 1-3 emails each day saying the signal from my 5 in 1 has been lost for the past two hours (I put in fresh batteries and it didn't change anything). I just signed up with Weather Underground today, and so far it's reading and reporting my data. Very strange.
