After mandatory upgrade to this new hub, I would still like the option to disable the LEDs on the device.  How do I disable this pervasive blue light that disturbs my circadian rhythm

Well, this will probably void your warranty, but if you pop the Access open, that "LED" is really a plastic optical guide that curves around and plugs into the main board where the LEDs actually reside.  You can unplug the guide from the main board easily.

Or a piece of black electrical tape would do the trick, too, without voiding your warranty.

The old bridge had an option on the ip interface to disable LED.  I understand that this was not an option on newer bridges (other posts) but I think it is something that should be added to the firmware (and addressed by an employee, not a smart-a).

I'm sorry you feel that way.  I was serious.

The disabling of the LEDs on the old hardware was quite buggy and interfered with wunderground data flow.  It also caused many to think their equipment was broken.

A piece of electrical tape will fix it quite fine.  No joke.
