My Acurite 5 in one has not updated for about 5 hours and shows offline, the light is solid blue on my Access. Weather Underground is updating normally and my router shows that the access is connected. Seems to be something wrong besides with Acurite's server. Is there anything else that I should do?

Yes, return it for a refund. Acurite is aware of this problem for at least 2 months and has been unable to fix it. I had the same problem with mine.

I've had similar issues.
1. Access reports a signal strength of 4 and then all of a sudden drops to zero and goes offline.  (happened once in 2 weeks)
2. Access reports a spike in rainfall when it's dry as a bone outside.  Console confirms no rainfall.
3. Access reports temperatures from 4-5 hours ago.

I'm obviously not alone.

My conclusion is that this Access POS is not ready for prime time. Smart Hub was flawless.

I'm surprised WU hasn't given me the "boot" for reporting such erroneous data.

Chaney needs to fess up with all these issues and give us a schedule on bug fixes. Hopefully these can be fixed with future firmware updates. If not this new system is junk.

My suggestion is to stick with Smart Hub for as long as possible and then decide what to do. Don't succumb to the $40 offer because the new Access system is full of bugs.

Ambient Weather station has a all in one and you don't need a hub, WiFi right to your router and it's less then the new atlas.  Change is good......
