Access hubNew Access Hub and Sporadic Alerts and Signal Loss

I am getting consistent, random warning/alerts since day one with my equipment which is less than 60 days old. This is anything from loss of signal of a random piece of equipment to water leak alerts. It is so bad we now ignore everything. The temperature reading once showed we went from 20 to 110 degrees. So the issue is with everything from flood sensors to weather sensor outside.

All equipment ranges from being 5 feet away (water heater sensor) from receiver to 25 feet away (weather sensor) though on a separate floor. So everything is very close by design. I also rebooted everything and even swapped out batteries. Attached is a recent screenshot of alerts of last week alone for perspective. The account under MyAcuRite is Kann1997@icloud.com. Do I simply have a faulty receiver you need to replace? I would not think the weather station and all the sensors would be bad.

Sorry to hear that, I wanted to let you know depite all my issues noted here my 5n1 has never alerted me of a signal loss. I have had random bad readings that went from 25 to 105 degrees and back to 25, but the signal to the receiver has been solid.

Hello Richard,

We can see that you are currently transmitting online. On the 27th it looks like your Access went offline as all sensors were offline at the same time and came back on at the same time.  On 3/8 it looks as though it was the individual sensor that went offline. How far is the Access from the water heater sensor? What type of construction material is between them? What type of construction material is the house made of? Is the Access plugged directly into the router, or are you using a port or switch?

Being online is not the concern, it is about all the sporadic alerts and sensor readings. Your note about everything being offline was due to my rebooting my house to basically try and fix this. Not sure the point there or the point on being online now. You called out one sensor being offline but please note all sensors go offline randomly that show in the alerts. One went off this morning again ironically. Anyway to answer your question about the water heater sensor distance, I already noted it was 5 feet away from the receiver in my post. There is no construction, it is line of sight. The Access hub is plugged into the switch that is built into the router.

I am truly struggling here.  I have called, emailed and posted to this forum without any actual engagement beyond the one post above that did not really do anything beyond ask me to repeat what I already noted.  It is now 6 weeks with the same issues, I just got an email that case # 00625274 will be closed though I never heard from anyone and there is nothing going on via this website as anyone can see.  Today when I called again, I was 9 in cue with a wait time of 95 minutes.  I hope to hear from someone very soon or the next conversation will be with the BBB asking for a full refund.  It is bad enough that I will not give Acurite my business going forward due to this, so the least I am going to do is get my $300 back if this is not addressed.  I will keep the curious posted on how this ends via this thread.  Wow, just crazy.
