A couple of questions about sensors and how to choose the best with my setup

I just upgraded to a new 02027 color from the old 2001. I have 2 new 06002RM's and 1 old 6608a. I would like to keep the most accurate gauge. Any ideas? Should I reset both units by pulling and reinserting battery? Will it learn from all 3 (each on its own channel) even while let's say signal C is being displayed? Is it okay to change channels during the learning cycle? Does the old unit have the same temp. Humidity, and barometer like the new sensor? Thanks

Hi Rich,

We would recommend using the 06002RM as it is our most up to date sensor.  The two units should be on different ABC switches.  The both operate similar to each other in regards to temp, humidity and barometric pressure.  However, changing the ABC switch during the learning mode could potentially mess with the learning and we would only recommend doing that during a hard reset.  If you have any additional questions, please contact AcuRite customer support at 877-221-1252.  Have a great day!
