Hello Gary,

Do you have the amber light flashing in the back of the smartHUB, and the green solid light? When you say it froze up what do you mean? We do not show a device is registered to your account on My AcuRite.  The blue lights should be solid except when a reading is sent. The left blue light will flash for 1 second each time a reading is sent. Do you have the smartHUB plugged directly into the router, or are you using a port or switch?  We would recommend power cycling the router and smartHUB for about 2 minutes. Make sure to unplug the Ethernet cord from the router. After the 2 minutes power up the router and wait for it to come back online. Once back online plug the Ethernet cord back into the router, and then power up the smartHUB. Give it a couple of minutes, and try to register the device on My AcuRite. In order to register the device on My AcuRite it does need to have a sensor with batteries in it, that is transmitting to the smartHUB. Please let us know if this corrects your issue.

Was working OK. Had power outage for approx. 10 minutes on 6/29 at 11:-- PM. found out next day. locked on weather at that time. Shut down router and Hub to reboot several times, did not work. Blue lights SOLID, Amber flashes and green is  solid. Ended up removing hub from myacurite website to reinstall, but will not let me. Says lights are not flashing. Hub is still disconnected Was hooked directly to router

Hello Gary,
Do you have the smartHUB plugged directly into the router, or are you using a port or switch? Can also provide us with your splash page and blur out your mac address?  To access the splash page please follow the instructions below. Thank you.
To access you Splash page follow the steps below:

• Open a web browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari, etc.).
• Enter your router address in the URL bar. The default address for many routers is 192.168.1.1 --once you have entered this, press Enter on your keyboard. (If this is not your default address, consult your router's manual for the correct address.)
• Most routers are different. Look for something similar to "DHCP List" or "Client List". These lists should contain the DID addresses and assigned IP addresses to any devices connected to your router.
• Locate the DID address that matches your SmartHUB’s DID address exactly. This address will always start with 24:C8:6E

5. Next to the SmartHUB’s DID address, you should see the assigned IP address. Write this IP address down.
6. In your web browser's URL bar, now enter the IP address assigned to your SmartHUB, then press Enter on your keyboard.

Hello Gary,

When you had a power outage was it due to a storm?  Is the smartHUB plugged directly into the router, or are you using a port or switch? We would be happy to get you a replacement smartHUB once all troubleshooting options have been exhausted. Please reply with the splash page as directed above so we can look into this for you.

JENNIFER It is plugged directly into router, there is a 06044m sensor 2 INCHES from hub and it willnot pick it up. I removed hub from myacurite account to reinstall but it willnot let me. every time I try it tells me"Device must be connected and reporting data to claim it. Please make sure the device is connected to your routor and the status lights are BLINKING" {THE LIGHTS ARE SOLID BLUE} The power outage was not due to storm, just went off for approx. 10 min.  As for SPLASH Page if you mean this info-CONNECTION TYPE- ETHERNET,IP ADDRESS-192.168.1.8,IP ADDRESS ALLOCATION-DHCP.  Other than thatI need a direct phone line to you to dicuss. THANK YOU
