Rain is reported accurately on the display but has been over reporting on the app It has reported rain three days in a row when I only had it one day

Hello Doug,

I have reviewed your account, and it looks like you are experiencing rainfall carry over and erroneous rain readings. How long have you had your smartHUB for? Where was it purchased? You are getting  single reading of rain at the start of a new day – before the accumulation resets to zero. This happens when the smartHUB’s first data transmission of the day occurs before it receives the updated time from My AcuRite. Once the smartHUB receives the time after midnight, the smartHUB automatically resets the rain accumulation to zero, but is not able to impact data sent before the reset. However you are not getting any rain so it is erroneous rain as well. When is the last time you should have rain registered on My AcuRite?

Hello there, I'm getting a similar error, too. It's read .40" of rain every day since 4/15. We have had sunny skies since our last rain fall on 4/15. My display reads 0.00"... MyAcuRite reads .40". It's also reporting to Wunderground of .40" per day. Any ideas on how to correct? I have a model 06004 Sensor and Model 06039 Display

Hello Blake,
Do you also have this reading on your display or is this only on My AcuRite? Thank you.

The display was reading accurately. My AcuRite was not. I unlinked and re-linked my device to My AcuRite and the totals reset. I have not had rainfall yet to see if the issue will re appear. I also was able to look back at the logs... at 12:00am the rain totals reset to zero. Then at 12:05am the previous totals were present again.  Definitely a software issue.
