I have a 5-in-1 Weather Station, can I add a 06002 temperature and humidity sensor to it so I can monitor a 2nd room in the house?  If so, are there step by step directions on adding it?

Scott you did not say what model display you have or if you have a smarthub, but in most cases the 5 in 1 display will only should the info from the 5 in 1 there is one or two that will work with an extra sensor but most do not. Now if you have a smarthub the answer is yes up to 10 compatible sensors.

I have model 02032 for the 5 in 1 which I think gets me model 06037MA1 display.  Does that help?

Ok the 02032 bundle comes with a 5 in 1 sensor, a portable lightning detector, and the 06037 pc connect display. This display will  only show you the 5 in 1 sensors data.

Thanks for the info Ledrak.  Since you mentioned the smarthub can you help guide me towards the correct model that would work with my 02032 and additional sensors such as the 06002?  If using the smarthub will the 06037MA1 display work in tandem with it?  Ideally it would be nice to still get all the information on the 06037MA1 display, but not have to have the PC its connected to on all time, rather have the smarthub handle that duty.

Well Acurite just released the newer version of the hub called the Access https://www.acurite.com/access-my-acurite-remote-monitoring.html it does the same as the hub and more and no need for a computer after set up. This new unit only monitors 7 compatible sensors but it has more memory and battery backup. The display will not work with the Access because both units are receivers but it will continue to display the info from the 5 in1. So if you want to monitor your system remotely you would need to purchase 2 temp humidity sensors because like I said you cannot get the info from the display. If you are using the pc connect program now you will want to stop and only use the Access. The 06002 should work just fine with the Access.

Hello brubakes,
Ledrak is correct on the information provided above. The 06002 sensor cannot be viewed on a 02032 display. If you do not want to keep the display connected to your computer to view your sensor data, we would recommend to purchase the AcuRite Access.  The AcuRite Access is compatible with up to 7 sensors but will not connect to your display as they are both receivers. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you.
