5 in 1 unit dead

Yesterday afternoon my smart hub said status offline, I have done all the usual things and now I notice that my display shows inside reading working but outside reading stationary. I cleaned the sensor and put in new alkaline batteries and no change. It was purchased October 2016 so out of warranty. So I removed the sensor from myacurite and all I see now is No available sensors. I think it has died after 1 year and 3 months. Part numbers are - 06016RM and 06014RM and 09150M

I have just replaced my 09150TRX internet bridge with an Access this week. Mine too was out of warranty. I'm not sure how different the 09150M is from what I have, but my bridge died, no LEDs showing anywhere on the unit despite tests showing power on the circuit board. If you can't revive it keep an eye on your email for an offer for a significantly discounted Access. This offer convinced me to upgrade. Hoping the longevity of the Access is better than the original unit. So far so good, changeover was easy and it seems to work well.

You may have corrosion or pest infestation in the 5 in 1. Have you split the clam shell (outer screws only. Do not disturb the tilt bucket calibration screws near the center line).

Not sure what to do here Dave, obviously your smart hub has power with the LEDs lit. If you have not done so already I suggest calling Acurite's tech support to see if they can help. There are lots of "suggestions" about what to do around the internet, but I would go right to the source. I've heard people have had problems reaching their tech support but that is not a problem I experienced. I hope you can get the problem resolved. When these products work they work well for a very fair price. I'm hoping these issues are just a development hiccup and hopefully will lead to better things in the future. So far the Access has been flawless.

Hello Dave,

Bring the five in one sensor in within 3 feet of the smartHUB.  Power cycle the smartHUB with the sensor close to it by following the steps below:

The lights should function as follows: The left blue light is a network status light. It should flash for 1 second each time a reading is sent otherwise it will be steady. The right light should be solid steady. There should be an amber light in the back that is flashing where the Ethernet is plugged in. The green light should be solid. Please power down the smartHUB and router for 2 minutes. Unplug the Ethernet cord from the back of the router. After the 2 minutes power up the router. Wait for it to come back online. Once online go ahead, and plug in the Ethernet cord, and power up the smartHUB. Try to add the device ID and see if you get an error message.
