5 in 1 Smart hub loses connection every few hours

In the past week my smart hub loses connection every few hours. I switched it with another smart hub which worked fine for almost a day and now it is losing connection even more often. Why? Have you forced a hardware update that is causing this?

Same problem here. Have you noticed that they released a new version of the smarthub just last week? It's called the Acurite Access. And now mysteriously the old smarthubs stop working intermittently. I think they want us to buy new devices. Grrrrr.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that smart hubs are crashing at the same time the Acurite Access is released. This same thing happened when Acurite switched from My Backyard app to MyAcurite app. Smart hubs couldn’t take the new firmware update and were either bricked or constantly disconnecting. It was a nightmare for Acurite customers and an embarrassing debacle for Acurite and I fear it’s happening again. The Access can only connect 7 devices where as the smart hub can connect 10.

Hello All,
There is no connection to your smartHUB disconnecting and the launch of the AcuRite Access. We have not sent any updates to the HUB. Do you have the smartHUB connected directly into your router or are you using a switch of any kind? The smartHUB does require a direct connection to your router.  What are the lights on the smartHUB doing when it is offline?  Where do you have the smartHUB placed?  Thank you.
