5-in-1 Pro with possibly one solar panel not working?

At the same exact time, every sunny day, my reported temperature suddenly within 3 minutes drops about 3-4C or even more. This exact time "migrates". That is to say, it happens several seconds earlier every day as spring progresses. The unit is not obstructed by anything, it is in full sun from daybreak until sunset. I am wondering if the left-side solar panel is failing to deliver power to the fan. Then, when the sun begins to shine on the right-side panel, the fan suddenly kicks in for the rest of the day. The time the sun shines on the right-side panel seems earlier by a few seconds every day as we progress towards the summer solstice.

See the image - the spike is visible at about 10:40AM right now.

Has anyone else seen this? Is there a fix besides buying the 5-in-1 Pro upgrade? Somebody is going to say "why don't you go listen for the fan at 10:40AM", but the unit is at my recreational property and I am not there at the moment.
