5 in 1 lost connection to My AcuRite Dashboard new router

We upgraded internet speed which required a new router.  It is a ZyXEL VMG4325-B10A.

Now our 5 in 1 lost connection to My AcuRite Dashboard &
WeatherUnderground.

I did the unplug & replug both the power & Ethernet cords to no avail.  Also pushed the “register” button on the bottom of the SmartHub.
The router shows port 80 in use, though an open port check shows it closed.   In the Connection status map of the router, the MAC address for the SmartHub (24:C8:6e:01:51:BB)  does not show up.
Inside display is working fine and new batteries in the 5-1.   The sensor status light on the SmartHub is solid blue, the network status light is on steady intermittently, mostly it is off. Any suggestions?

Hello Jim,

Please try a different Ethernet cord. We would recommend power cycling both the router and smartHUB. Power them down for about 2 minutes, and unplug the Ethernet cable from the router.  After 2 minutes power up the router first, and wait for it to come back online. After it's back online plug the Ethernet cord into the router, and then power up the smartHUB. Give it a couple of minutes to see if your information comes online. What is the name brand of the router you are using, and who is your internet service provider? Thank you.

The router is a ZyXEL VMG4325-B10A.. ISP is TwinLakes cooperative in rural Tennessee. It will be a few days until I get back there to do all that. I will send a note when I do. Thanks for the follow up! We switched from their standard DSL service to fiber optic, requiring the new router...

I did everything you mentioned & the SmartHub is still off line.  Any further suggestions?

Hello Jim,

We would recommend contacting the router manufacturer to see if there is something preventing it from transmitting. If it was working before updating the router it would lead us to believe there is something in the settings preventing it from transmitting.

If your ZTE is like my Pace, each port can be configured. Does the Port connection LED show? Does the similar LED on the smarthub show? (they indicate the other-end is seen. Only 1 end showing, you have a 1 way connection.   BTW you might also configure the modem port to 10/100 FDX and not Auto as a test

Progress - sort of.  After re-configuring the router I now have the 5 in 1 reporting to My AcuRite Dashboard on my iPad -  but Not to WeatherUnderground.  I checked my account on WU & it is correct..

Yes I'm up and running again, thanks for your suggestions. I had to re register the weather station on WU. I suspect if was off line too long.
