The LCD readout of the wind speed and the OAT my 1036 5 in 1 display quit working when I turned on the displays backlight.yesterday morning.. If I very gently apply a little pressure it possible to barely read the display.  The unit was purchased in March of last year so it's 3 months our of warranty.  I like the unit but the LCD displays readout has always been a weak point and now that its unreadable in 15 months is very disappointing.  Any suggestions?

Jim, I have exactly the same issue on both of my displays, both bought at the same time you got yours, March of 2017, seems they must have has some bad LCD panels. Both the indoor humidity and rainfall read out on one and the indoor temp on the other fade out, and can only be seen by squeezing the case with your fingers a little. I had to clip a plastic 'chip' clip on the one in my office to be able to see it, there is no 'fix' short of a replacement, and being out of warranty all I can say is 'Good Luck'
