I am having upper end temp reading errors (remote head) – like any others. I am waiting for the new fan / motor which I am told will be in the week of 9/28 - and hopefully ship that week. I am told the new motor will run faster and pull more air past the remote temp sensor hopefully lowering the temp readings of the remote head by some 10 degrees.
Today (Saturday 9/26) I received 2 of the 12123-5N1CBSA model number with the SAME QC code I have already in the unit I purchased, QC2915. I do not believe these are the new motors, and are identical to the unit I currently have.
I thank you for your efforts, but I will still need the new motor / Fan assembly which I hope come in the week of 9/28.
The notes you have are under the email, email@example.com (I believe). Not my Gmail account.
Earlier today I tried covering the remote head (shading it) with a shoe box sitting over it. The head was still in the sun, but no direct sun light hitting the head. The temp read +10 degrees higher than my base unit, sitting outside, under my porch, in the shade. I was hoping if I could find a way to shade the head, the temps would mirror the base unit (02064C). this did not happen.
