09150TRX Not Connecting

Trying to add connection on accurite.com, but getting following message after entering MAC adress (which ends in ECF, but it only allows EC when I type it in): 
  • Device must be connected and reporting data to claim it. Please make sure the device is connected to your router and the status lights are blinking.
Both blue lights are blinking on hub and I have pressed and held register button for 4 seconds. I have a Netgear Nighthawk  AC1900 wireless router, and connection is orange showing device is connected, but it's not blinking, meaning no data is being transmitted.

I have tried checking my windows firewall to see if it's blocked, but do not see any device or connection I recognize as part of the hub.

I have rebooted both router and hub several times and hit Register per instructions on other threads, but it still will not let me add my connection. I have tried calling the 877-221-1252 number, but all I get is a recording saying there is a problem with the system. 

This seems to be a pretty common problem, but what is the solution?
