09150TRX not communicating--tried everything I found on forum

Acurite Bridge 09150TRX stopped communicating with Acurite 5 in 1 Model 01512. Bridge worked for about a month. Easiest setup ever. Then.......no more data on Backyard. Did the usual, changed batteries, brought inside next to bridge, changed ethernet cables, changed to another Lan port on Xfinity Modem/Router/Wifi Combo Cisco DCP 3939, unplugged for 2 minutes, changed location/position, moved both away from all electronics and signals, ensured DHCP is enabled. I have since moved it to another modem-Motorola Surfboard and a Linksys EA6350 Wifi router. Tried different ethernet ports, etc. etc. etc. The blue lights come on initially solid, then blink alternately as if all is well. Then the blue lights are solid for 30 seconds, blinking for about a minute. Watched for about 3 hours. Changed ethernet cable, again, 2 minute reset, different port on router, put weather station and bridge in the middle of room on a table 8 feet away from everything. Blue lights flashed alternately for a couple hours (like all is good). When I got up, lights were still alternating, excitement in the air, signed on to Backyard Weather and all the excitement was drained. I then tried a EA2000 range extender from the DCP 3939 Modem/Router, 2 minute reset, new cable, blue lights alternately blinking, it's been 3 hours. Nothing showing up on Backyard weather. I have been able to see the IP address on every modem/router combination I have used as if it sees the bridge. I am at a total standstill and would like any help possible. I may be overlooking the obvious. I just want it to work like when I got it. Hooked it up, registered, waited 30 minutes, Backyard Weather good, Weather Underground sharing good, etc. It is normally on a pole about 10' above shed, within 50' of the bridge and the display monitor. I tried many different locations with the bridge. I believe I have read just about every post on this forum.

Have you looked at the Bridge webpage? Maybe that will shed some light.

This is what I see when I view the Bridge webpage.  It appears to me that all is normal.

Well, the bridge is now back to alternating blue lights then solid blue, then repeats the previous.  I was viewing the Bridge webpage while this was happening and Identifier, Battery Status and Signal Strength all went blank when lights went solid, then came back when flashing.  Ughh!  Ethernet connection lights (green = lit, yellow = flashing) irregardless of the blue lights status.

What about your PC's firewall?

I know have it hooked up to a Linksys Extender RE2000, because I plan to move it closer ~15 ft. line of sight when I put it back up. Currently still on a table away from all "sources" of interference. On my Xfinity DCP 3939 modem/router/wifi I have port forwarded the RE2000 range extender. I guess I will let it ride through the holidays as I spent 2 hours on hold this morning before I finally just hung up. I guess that's expected with this time of year. I can't use a PC except for viewing the Backyard Weather page. I plan on calling Xfinity after I get some kind of response from Acurite to see if I should do something different with the modem firewall. Weird though, it worked for awhile with the new modem/router, now it won't work with any modem or router. I've got plenty of options-2 modems, 3 wifi routers and a range extender. All high quality items. I guess I will just walk outside with the bridge, if it gets wet, then I will know it's raining!!

Mine has been up for a few weeks problem free, and now some reason when acu-link.com is down my bridge also looses signal to the sensors, then sporadically sees them off/on, thinking or least hope is related. :(

I am having trouble signing into https://acu-link.com. This might be part of your problem.

Some reason I believe it is, acu-link.com is down and only ever so often responding, and some reason when it pings, bridge sees sensors, when it doesn't ping, bridge doesn't show sensors.  Don't like that at all, specially since I also use a meteobridge to report and causes data to be all messed up or not reporting at all.

Hello All and Merry Christmas! As you've reported we have had the AcuLink site experience some outages due to heavy traffic the last couple of days. We have been working on a solution amd believe we have this corrected. You should start to see AcuLink coming back up shortly.

Thanks for the update. But my issue started on Oct. 28th I am probably going to need some tech support once you'll get caught up from the holidays.

Hi Chris,

As reported elsewhere on the forum, our Aculink server providers experienced a disruption in service over the weekend; this appears to have been corrected.  Have a great day!

Called Tech support this morning.  Tory did a "force register" and all appears to be working now, except of course the intermittent server problems which she said they are currently working on the issue and that it should be all cleared up by Monday.
THANK YOU everyone for your input and suggestions.  You folks are great!!
