06036M - not finding any sensors

I recently bought the station via Amazon (3 external sensors plus display) and everything worked fine for the first 2-3 weeks. Couple of weeks ago the outdoor temp sensor got stuck at 2 degrees (celcius) regardless of climate changes so I reset both the display and all sensors, new batteries etc. Then everything got much worse since the station now can’t find any of the sensors at all. I’ve tried everything I can think of without success. Please advice.

Hello Frionrik, 

Are you getting dashes or any error messages on the display. What does it show for the sensor readings?  Once we have more specific information we can provide you with the specific troubleshooting.  It might be best to start from scratch by removing all of the batteries from the sensors and resetting the display by removing the power and pressing the reset button for 20 seconds. Once that is done then power up the display and add the sensors as you would when you initially set up the weather station.

Started from scratch as recommended. Still no luck. I press the proper location button to add a sensor, select the type, then the ID. The station displays “FINDING” for a while (while the signal strength icon rotates from 1 to 4 bars). Finally the display seems to give up and goes back to displaying AVAILABLE. No error message is given. I’ve been trying this for all 3 sensors without any luck.
