Hello, can you please tell me what the power usage is for the 100%, 60%, and 15% brightness levels? I am not sure if the lighting is led based? I like the 60% but don't want to use it if it uses many more watts.

Is this not a fair question?

Hello Andrew,

The power calculation for this comes out to be .5 watt or 1/2 watt max current draw.  The unit will draw the same if it's at 100% or 15%.  Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you.

It's not a question most manufacturers could answer without someone going back into a lab and measuring it.

I'm sure the back lighting is LED-based.

Considering the power adapter is rated at 5 Volts and 0.250 Amps, that would give a power of 1.25 Watts (maximum) used by the display.

I'd just set it to your preferred brightness level and forget about it.
