"replaced" smarthub with access, and now previous data is gone. Any way to recover?

Followed the procedure to replace my smarthub with the access on the myacurite website and the access working fine, but I thought it was supposed to carry over the previous data.  Is it supposed to?  Can it be put back? 
Any insight appreciated.

Hello Dan,
When using the replace function, the sensors and names will transfer to the new device but the historical data does not transfer. If you want to download previous historical data you can reconnect the smartHUB and download all data before disconnecting.  Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you.
