I have been trying to dial in my system the past week or two and have a few issues. I have reviewed all the prior forum entries but wanted to get my case posted to see if any more progress has been made on some of these frequent issues:
The bridge has been connected and I am confident in my procedure but within a day or two, it drops the connection and I have to unplug and restart the bridge, after which it reconnects but will drop again in a day or two. Any Ideas?
My rainfall showed .20" after I was done installing the sensor. It has not rained for the 2 weeks since I setup the system but it still shows .20" and never reset to 0. I know how to reset all of the histories but can not reset the current total other than a full reset of the display unit.
I am curious exactly what is used for input in calculating the forecast. My actual weather has been 0% rain both in observation and regional forecast but my displays forecast is constantly in the range of 60-80% rain as well as temperatures about 5 -10 deg higher than actual future temps. Is regional forecast data used in the algorithm or is the prediction purely based on my sensors data and history?
Your support on this forum has been remarkable and hoping to get these issues figured out. Thanks.

The issue of the bridge losing connection should be corrected now with a firmware update that was issued this week. This update was completed late on Wednesday.
The only way to clear the current rainfall is by pressing and releasing the reset button located inside the battery compartment of the main unit.
The forecast is calibrated using the following information from your sensor only:
Time
Date
Outdoor Temperature
Outdoor Humidity
Barometric Pressure
Geographical Region-

I have the same issue with my Internet bridge- it stops responding to local connections or uploading. The LCD display showing full signal strength and continues to properly update weather data while the Internet is down.
When not communicating the Internet bridge shows the left (from front) blue LED steady, right blue LED off, activity yellow blinking intermittently, steady green.
The unit is running application version 110 and Boot Firmware version 006.
Power cycling gets it running again.

I had the same problem during a thunder storm today as well. Bridge appeared to be sending pressure data but all the rainfall data was lost from the bridge. The tabletop display logged the rainfall durring that storm but somehow the bridge dropped it all.

My weather underground is KCASACRA54

Some additional details:
-I have the unit pushing data to Weather Underground (KNJPRINC9) so you can easily see when it stops uploading until I restart it.
-The bridge is located about 25 feet from the weather station through a wood wall.
-Verizon FiOS router for the network connection. -

Can you post how to determine the application version and the Firemware version.
Also post the numbers of the current versions so we can check that our units have been updated.
Thanks!-

>The only way to clear the current rainfall is by pressing and releasing the reset >button located inside the battery compartment of the main unit.
So the precipitation is going to keep building up until I hit reset? Doesn't hitting reset make for another 2 week learning period? I moved mine, so I had to reset it. The precipitation never goes away. Was this unit designed this way? You have to hit the history button to see the current rainfall. Mine now says 1.82". That is the total of 3 days of rain, .81" today so far.
The precipitation not going away seems like a bug to me.- view 2 more comments

As I read the descriptions and capabilities of other Acu-Rite weather stations using the top-of-the-line 5n1 sensor (models 01010, 01015 and 01500), I now think I had made a wrong assumption that the new and most expensive, top-of-the-line weather center 01050 would have all of the best features of those other Acu-Rite models and build on them. I was wrong. The 01050 has some serious shortcomings, most notably for me, (1) the inability to automatically reset the rainfall total to zero on the main rainfall display page after completion of a rainfall event, and (2) the inability to allow users to recalibrate the temperature and humidity sensors. The other 3 models mentioned above have these capabilities. Plus, the forecast performances of both the 01050 display console and the online Backyard Weather software seem to be useless, consistently forecasting nothing but rain, and I don't expect that to change over the coming days with further learning time for the display console or the Backyard Weather software. These 01050 shortcomings and others seem to be widespread, as evidenced by the many user posts online. Given that, I don't understand how the 01050 made it to market. Did it work well in during product development but then went south due to poor QA during manufacturing, or were the bugs never really addressed during product development? This might sound harsh and there are probably things I'm not aware of, but as I slowly learn more from reading other posts and looking more closely at other Acu-Rite models, I have a hard time concluding anything else at the moment.
One thing that has been bothering me... the unit being sold at a sale price at Costco.com is the 01050 (my unit has no "C" designation anywhere on the package, user manual, etc.), but the unit description on the Acu-Rite website lists the model as 01050C, but out of stock. Is Costco being used to unload the stock of under-performing 01050 units, with a corrected 01050C waiting in the wings? I hope that's not the case. -
-
The Rainfall Event on the 01010 will automatically reset the accumulated rain on it's own, the 01015 and 01500 displays also reset the Rainfall Event automatically.
The 01050 weather station is our newest unit. The main unit does have some different features from the other 5n1 stations because the main feature of the unit is the bridge and the ability to view Your weather online. The "C" listed with this model number on our registration indicates "Costco". We are currently not selling this unit direct from our website but wanted to have it listed to provide additional information to those who may be looking for further details. -

Your latest firmware push has solved my bridge dropping out. Also appreciate the input sources for the forecast feature. My rain forecast are now usually sitting in the 90% plus range even though there is a 0% chance in actuality. I know the forecasting algorithm is not perfect but it is predicting such high probability of rain all the time that it is really a useless feature. Any comments or ideas on how to improve the accuracy?
Also, I am going to have to agree with bmatraw on the rain gauge reset. I have read every forum entry on this issue and it makes no sense why the rain gauge will continue to add up with no way to zero it out except to do a full reset on the device (losing all historical data and learned patterns). One Acurite tech on another posting even said "hold down the up arrow when on the rain display to reset", which makes perfect sense and is inline with zeroing of historical data, but no ones display actually does this. I am really thinking that a zeroing of rain was designed in but some bug or manufacturing error has removed the ability. If someone from Acurite could please comment on this and if any solution is in the works to address this issue. Thanks.-
You may notice some slight differences in the forecasting as the web and display use different barometric pressure readings however it should not be too far off. Do you know if both the display and web are set to the same Region selection?
The forecast is calibrated using the following features, please be sure each of these is set correctly.

Ditto on the rain gauge reset, it doesn’t seem too professional to me.
I've got issues with the barometric pressure, it hasn't changed for 3 days yet we've had some big weather changes (rain-clearing-high wind).
We're on Great Peconic Bay and the wind is hardly ever constant. When I study the history of wind speed, I see periods over 2 hours were the wind appears constant, it just doesn’t happen that way here. I also notice at one point the wind speed was 18 and the wind peak was 12.
This appears to be new technology but I think there was similar techology that used the same outdoor equipment.-
Is this the barometric pressure from the bridge or the main display unit. The display unit will calibrate the pressure and it may take up to 14 days before it reads more accurately.
The wind speed is updated every 18 seconds and the wind peak is updated ever 60 seconds so it may not have gotten the new update when you were noticing the difference. -

I am still having the "No Signal" bridge drop outs. How do I verify that I got the update as peter.thompson88 did? My bridge has continuously been connected to my router which is never powered down. The last hard reset was yesterday at about 6PM.

I have a problem with high outside humidity readings with my 1050C, and I recall seeing that others have posted they have a similar problem with the 1050C. With me, the outside humidity can be about 10% higher than area humidity online reports from Accuweather, etc. Sometimes during the day, the 5-in-1 sensor gets close to what online sources report, but consistently at night since I bought the unit a couple weeks ago, the humidity goes up to 98% - every night! - whereas online sources for my area might report anywhere from 70-80% or so. My high humidity readings must be a primary reason why the forecasts have consistently been forecasting rain at 99% or 100% probability, and also why the rain gauge has not been resetting to 0, since the display unit thinks any rain event is never over. I bought the unit from Costco.com, and actually then bought a second one for comparison, figuring I'd return one, but both are reporting the same 98% humidity every night, consistently forecasting rain whether it's really going to rain or not, and not resetting the rain gauge. What's up Acu-Rite?

I held the reset button for 12 seconds as described. When I checked my firmware versions again (by connecting to the local IP address of the unit from my web browser) I do not see any change in the "Application" or "Boot Firmware" version indicated. How do I confirm that the reset has switched the unit over to operating on the indicated firmware? Presumably since it was previously showing the same firmware that does not necessarily mean it is running the indicated firmware?

Jenny i might be a dummy but how do we find this out if we have the newest?
-

To check the latest firmware version you will first need to locate the IP address for your router. Enter this address into your browser bar. Then locate IP address for your bridge, the MAC address will always start with 24C86E. Enter the bridge IP address into the browser bar. From this next screen you can view the current firmware version.

Acu-Rite: As you can see by all the replies, the reset for the precipitation is not really an option. So tell me, is there a firmware update to clear it? I had read elsewhere on here press and hold the up arrow while viewing the precipitation. Well like someone else said, that doesn't work. If it did, that would be good enough for me, that way we could see the total of a couple day event.
If there is no firmware update coming or in progress, the unit is going back to Costco. Did you folks at Acu-Rite notice a big uptick in sales last month? Costco had this unit on sale...
Bill-
A firmware update would not correct the main display unit as this unit does not connect to the internet. The rain event will automatically reset on your Acu-link page online however if you are not happy with the rain feature of the main display please contact us directly and we can discuss another option. 1-877-221-1252 or info@chaney-inst.com

I agree with all the posts above. I have the same humidity problem and also the current event rainfall not being able to be reset. Will you be sending out replacement humidity sensors and a new desktop unit to adress the inability to reset the rainfall event. The instruction book says it will display the rainfall for the current event. That appears to not reset as others have indicated.

I have made many posts in this forum, have spoken with people at Acurite, and have been promised replacement units will be sent. Well, I'm still waiting, and waiting....
I have two 1050c stations, and they both exhibit the same problems:
1) Temperature reads 4 degrees high in the full sun.
2) Humidity reads 1 percent anytime temperature goes over 95 degrees.
3) Forecast always says 99 percent chance of rain.
4) Bridge cuts out and can't pick up the sensors every few days. Have to reset.
So Acurite, is this a lemon product or what?-
Scott,
Can you contact us directly so we can get your full details and look into the replacement status further for you? -

Good question. If I don't see some answers soon my 1050c is going back.
-
-
As a storm moves into my area and I am spending the night away from home, my bridge drops the connection for the second time. Still having the 1% humidity issue, the forecast is always 99% rain and I am not happy with the inability to reset the rain event. Mine will be going back to Coscto soon.

Jeff, I see the posts are being "addressed" in various different threads, for several already chronic problems such as the bridge, the hygrometer and the rain-all-the-time weather forecasts, but mainly the suggestions are for remedies that don't work. I already sent you an email about replacing the sensor and received no response. And like I said, I'm still waiting to see the first post from someone saying that one of the problems has actually been addressed.

In all fairness, Jeff just emailed me that he was sending out a replacement snesor, and I do appreciate that. He also assured me that the bridge drop-outs will be corrected in an upcoming firmware update. Thanks!

Reading the issue "BRIDGE GOES BONKERS" got this response:
Yes this is a firmware issue we will be sending out an update for in the next week or so. The issue is that if the server goes down or is reset for a split second, if the bridge happens to be checking in it will get an unexpected response. The firmware update will go out and update the bridge so that it ignores those responses instead of trying to process them. Sorry for the inconvenience in the mean time. -
-
Another response from Jeff that addresses it further:
"No question about it we have an issue with bridges stalling out. I don't know why you'd think we didn't want to acknowledge this since there have been other posts where we have talked about it.
The firmware of the web bridge is being updated to correct the drop out issue and will be released probably near the end of next week. The current issue causes the bridge to freeze up when the server is reset or returns an unexpected reply. This has been happening too often as we are also working on upgrades to the server which cause it to be reset / restarted. We're trying to limit this as much as possible and of course fix the bridge firmware so it won't be affected by these issues going forward. Please be patient and we will definitely get everything working to everyones satisfaction. " -

Absolutely Paul! Just take it to any Costco store and you'll get a refund, no questions asked. Costco has got to have the best return policy of anyone! If you don't have a store near you, I'm sure you can arrange to ship it back to a Costco.com location.

Jack is this a mass exodis of this unit to Costco? I really like so many features but the no rainfall on the display is an issue and the goofy readings of highs and lows lately are weird.....I would rather had a unit that works?
-
-
Paul,
I suspect it is, or will turn into, a heavy return of the unit to Costco. I can see from various posts that AcuRite is trying hard to work with customers and solve the problems. Also judging from posts, I suspect at least some people may be in the process of getting replacement units directly from AcuRite. I don't know if AcuRite can do that for everyone though. If you really like the unit and if AcuRite hasn't asked you thru a post to contact them directly, I recommend that you call them to see if there are any exchange options they could offer you. -

I was having some problems and I thought it was just me. After reading the posts, I will be on my way back to costco. I wanted something to work out of the box, reset data as needed, no 24 hour blue flashing lights, and I don't want to fuss with software updates or replacing sensors. My unit has had bridge problems, data inconsistencies with the indoor sensor, rain forecasting every day. Best yet is the marked difference in the readings on the indoor display verses what I see on my droid and home computer. Sorry this is not what I thought I was getting when I purchased the product. It seems others may feel the way I do.

Hi gang,
I too was having a rough two-week initiation with the networking issues. Thankfully they seem to now be resolved and all data is comparable to a random sampling of local weather stations. I was promised that the issues would be resolved and they seem to have been. Luckily my sensors all work properly.
With regards to the blue-lights, I too found them annoying but realized I can turn them off when logging onto the IP address of the bridge via the router. There is a button on the bridge details page that says "Toggle Lights". Click it and the lights will be dead. -
-
Well, I must say I've just about had it. I arranged with Jeff to send me a replacement sensor, which he did overnight. I was really impressed and appreciative, and I do believe that he, and others at Acurite, are trying to do the right thing. The new sensor arrived and seemed to resolve most of the issues I was having, although the forecast remained too heavy on the rain side. But I was going to live with that. After more than a week of no rain here in New York City it basically rained all night last night, but the sensor reported zero rainfall. I just when up there and poured a glass of water into it, heard the tipping cup going back and forth, and yet it still reports zero rainfall. I think Acurite tried to do a nice thing here -- bring a comprehensive one piece wireless weather station in at a good price point, but it is obvious that the quality control just isn't there. I sent Jeff an email with the bad news. If he wants to try sending me a third sensor I suppose I can give that a try, but frankly at this point I'm inclined to return the thing to Costco and forget about it.

Nah Jeff, nothing. Not through the display nor the bridge, nothing. Can we try another sensor? I see Costco doesn't carry them anymore, or I would return it and buy another.

Just to update on the bridge. New firmware will be going out on Friday that resolves the bridge freezing up when it gets an unexpected response from the server.

Humidity problem not resolved on replacement sensor. See attached screenshot. Still reads 1% over 80 degrees. Also forecasting feature is useless as it constantly reads rain on both bridge and desktop. Sorry to say, but I think it's just poor engineering, quality or both. Will give Acurite a little bit longer, then guess I have no choice but to join the rest of you back at Costco.

My bridge was updated to 111, 006. on Friday 10-14-2011. It froze up over night. I powered it down and rebooted it and it came back on line. Also, the forecast never developed after 3+ weeks. additionally the humidity seems to go to 1% for a period of time and then recovers to a realistic value.
Please advide me what needs to be done to get my weather station to function properly or should I return it to Costco for credit?- view 4 more comments

The minimal progress made so far toward resolving all the issues and the apparent disregard of peoples dislike of the rainfall recording method, that apparently won't be fixed was enough. I returned it yesterday, after 4 weeks of trying to get this to work. Will probably not buy or recommend any acurite products. As someone mentioned earlier, bring your Costco.com order number with you. It is not on the packing slip, it is in you confirmation email when you ordered it. They will still take it if you don't have the order # it just makes it easier for them. One of the may reasons to shop Costco, returns are hassle free.

See my picture a couple of posts above. Besides the erroneous 1% humidity, notice the rain forecast. The people at Acurite seem to be ignoring this useless forecasting function. It shows 100% rain all the time. And the desktop display also shows rain all the time (by the way, no rain here in a long time). Have yet to see a reply from Acurite either acknowledging this as a fatal system bug, or offering a solution. So what's with the hype of the "patented" forecasting system when it's useless?

Will these corrected units solve the forecasting problems?
-
-
Hi Mitchell,
Yes, if you are experiencing an incorrect forecast due to an inaccurate humidity, which in most is cases is what is causing the forecast issue, the new sensor will correct it. -
-
-
-
I too noticed that the forecast function is not functional. It's predicted rain since I installed it 3 weeks ago. (It did rain a couple of days a couple of weeks ago) And since the bridge keeps dropping signals
Often, I can't get forecasts on-line. So far, a disappointing product.
BFree-
Is the outdoor temperature and humidity reading correctly? These readings will effect the forecasting feature and if inaccurate it can cause the forecast to be inaccurate as well.
Thanks,
Jenny -

They'll probably remove this post too, like they did my other, but the fact is that we all tried to get away cheap, and we've failed. To get a home weather station that is durable, accurate and well made you have to spend a minimum of $300-400 for something like a Davis, with another couple of hundred dollars for good Internet-involved software for it. When I saw the 1050c at Costco I thought maybe units like the Davis were overpriced and there was finally something in a reasonable price range, but apparently we got just what we paid for...
-
-
well it sounds like a bunch of you have tried to work with them but they havent responded to my email yet so thinking they must just have a bad product and no support for it
-
-
Since this is one of the longer running threads on the 1050C, I wanted to note that mine has been much better since the 111 firmware update about a week ago. Since that auto firmware update, the bridge stayed online continuously for about a week, before needing a reboot today. I'm sure there's a few more bugs needed to iron out here, but overall it's been pretty reliable uploading to Wunderground.com, and I was able to check it online while on the road in Europe and elsewhere this pas week.
My temps mostly read in line with a few other personal weather stations around my neighborhood. On a full sun afternoon it may tend a few degrees too high in direct sunlight.
My rain forecast is as flaky as everyone else - always 98-99% on My Backyard Weather, there is hardly any rain this time of year. The desktop display is currently predicting only 16%-37% chance of rain, somewhat better. I'm not really looking for a forecasting tool, I can check the local weather forecast online on Wunderground.com.
For the introductory Costco price, I'm pleased with being able to have a PWS on Wunderground for a fraction of the cost of other weather stations. I look forward to having a few more bugs and kinks worked out. -
-
I tend to agree, and at this point I'm going to stick with the unit and depend on the staff's assurances that they are working on improvements. Once the basic hardware issues are resolved, I'd like to see a little more functionality with the web interface, including the ability to email or send text messages containing the weather information being reported by the bridge. The Ethernet-connected bridge is actually a fairly sophisticated aspect of this system, and I'd like to see more and better use of it.
-
-
Regardless of the reason that the 1050C has had problems, Acu-Rite and their staff have done an admiral job satifying their customers.
I received a replacement bridge yesterday, registered it today and so far, it is staying on line.
I am looking forward to reveiving a replacement sensor. If that fixes the forecasting problem, I thing that the 1050C has the best features for the money. By-the-way, MAC useres can interface to 1050C which is not possible or very expensive with other weather stations. -
-
I, too have had issues with the system, but have been patient, and it looks like we're making great progress! Mybridge has been up and running and sending all information for over 24 hours straight now. The system is really remarkable. Those that do have patience, will be rewarded with a solid system that is every bit as comparable to unit's costing 4 times more!

I have had the same problems with the bridge freezing up. In fact I just had to reset it to make it work again. It had been at least 4 days since the last restart though. I checked the firmware and it is showing application 111 and firmware 006. Is this the lastest update? Hope not I am getting frautrated with needing to reset the unit. I have just noticed the rain amount on the display unit. It doesn't reset. I dont have much reason to look at indoor display since I have my computer and phone, yet I would like it to be right. The display that comes with the model 01010 was nice. The current one is not that great. I would like for the rain gauge display to reset without needing to manually advance to history for today to see rain fall for the day and not cumulative. If there is anyting I need to know to get these issues resolved, please email me tedmonds21@aol.com. I want to get this fixed

Jenny,
Just a suggestion... when you reply to someone (like the response you just posted), I think it would be helpful to start your response with that person's screen name. That way, when one picks up an AcuRite e-mail response with their own e-mail reader, people will know who you are responding to. Granted, one can find out by going to the website message thread and scrolling down to see who you're replying to, but that's an extra step and an inconvenience. I've seen a few irate messages posted on this thread where people thought they didn't get a response to their post from AcuRite, and you responded that you had replied earlier. I bet those people didn't realize you were responding to them when they read your message via their own e-mail reader. I've had it happen to me where you posted a response, and I said to myself "is she 'talking' to me?", and I had to go to the website to see.

HI Jack,
I will certainly try to remember to do this. Thank you for the feedback. -
-
-
-
I'm not a programmer, but I agree that it seems that a lot more can be done with the data coming from this Ethernet-connected bridge than they're doing with that overly simple web interface. I would think, for example, that it would not be that difficult for some of the more sophisticated weather software out there to support the 1050c. For all we know many of these problems people are experiencing are more software/firmware than hardware related.

I would like to get a status update on this model. I spoke with someone today at chaney-inst. and was told that the bridge connection issues have been completely resolved with firmware 112 and that the humidity problems were resolved by changing out the sensors.
I was thinking of buying this, but wanted to be sure the issues were fixed before I did.
Can anyone confirm that the product is working now as expected?
Thanks!
Brian-
Brian,
For me, firmware 112 has been rock solid. It has not dropped the connect at all as far as I can tell. Like other, I did have problems with previous versions.
I think the supply of sensors is limited so I suspect that purchases will still be old versions and may have humidity problems. This is just speculation on my part though. -

Well let me say this about the bridge...mine doesnt drop anymore but the whole unit was supposed to be replaced by the company 2 months ago and i cant even get a return email from them now....DONT BUY IT

Good Morning Mr. Dotson,
I have checked into the status of your replacement and found that FedEx expects to deliver it to you today, Dec. 15th. Please let me know if it does not arrive.
Thanks,

Is there any way we can tell by looking at the new sensors that they have the "updated" humidity sensors?
-
Hi Scott,
The only indication would be the quality label inside the battery compartment of the sensor. The improved sensors will have a number of 1142 or greater.
Thanks,

I'm back! I've been happy with the new 01010 display you gave me to go along with the 1050C.
For a while now, I can't get the bridge to connect. The last update was Jan 5th, over a month ago. I've tried to cycle the bridge, press the register button for 4 sec, 30 sec. I've rebooted the router, nothing has worked. I put lithium batteries in the sensor in the fall, I live pretty far north, where it does get cold. It has been a mild winter, even here, the lowest temp so far is -13. With the lithium batteries, the displays have never had a problem, just the bridge.
I moved the bridge to the back of the house, to be closer to the sensor, that didn't work.
Any ideas?

When I power it bridge down, I always leave it for at least 5 minutes, to make sure it is powered down. I do have the 112 update. The lights are all on as you describe.
I just checked MBW again, and I can't believe it, its working. Everything except the precipitation, but maybe that is because it is 21 degrees outside.
I did so much to it today with us going back and forth, I'm not sure what action it was to fix it.
I thank you both.

I have been having a similar problem. My app always shows 90% rain or snow all the time. The main display shows slightly less but always rain. The humidity on mine does go up and down but it's always extra high. Right now mine shows 66% humidity and every station around me shows 38% to 50% at the highest. I am guessing this is why my forecast is not working. How do I go about getting a new sensor? Thanks

Good Morning Christopher,
It sounds like your issue may be a little different than the ones mentioned above. Does my MBW display the correct tempature and do you have the correct GEO location chosen for your location? Is the 66% humidity reading you mention displayed on MBW? -
-
The MBW always shows good temp readings. The humidity readings are the same on the app & the base unit and always seam high. The app has never shown anything but rain or snow on the forecast. The main unit sometimes shows cloudy or sunny but only on the 4 hour forecast. Basically the forecast feature is useless on the app & the main display.

Hi Christopher,
The forecast is calibrated using the the Outdoor Temperature and Humidity, Time, Date, and Geographic Region. If any of these read incorrectly it will effect the forecast reading.
Have you tried resetting the units to attempt to reset the humidity readings? To do this you would remove the batteries from both units for 20 minutes and then reinstall. -

I reset both units tonight and no luck so far. Everything else seams fine. The main unit is set to region D as I live in CT. Time is correct. The MBW app never shows less than 90% chance of rain all the time. The main unit is a little better but still of no use. It seams like the humidity is consistently about 10-20% higher than any other weather station in the area. I have another humidity sensor I am going to put out tonight & see what it reads. Otherwise this is a great unit. Thanks

Hi Christopher-
Have you tried changing your GEO region to C? Also if your outdoor humidity is reading too high this will effect the forecast. If after testing with another unit you find it's still incorrect please contact us directly and we will happy to discuss your options with you. 1-877-221-1252.
If you have not yet taken the opportunity to register your product online please do so as this will speed the replacement process along

I have two units. Both are working continuously since the firmware upgrade a couple of months back. But one has stopped reporting the barometric pressure. The indoor display has it, but it doesn't show on the computer, or the droid ap.
Andy Douglas-
Hi Andy,
The pressure module is actually not located in the 5-in-1 sensor. The Bridge has it's own pressure module, as does the 01050C LCD display unit- so that explains why the LCD display is still showing pressure.
Have you tried re-setting the bridge that is not transmitting pressure? A power cycle (unplug completely for at least 5 minutes) may solve the issue.
I suspect there may be something going on with the pressure module itself- it is rare, but the pressure modules can technically go bad. Let us know. -

Well, it's been six months, and two replacement sensors. The last one was supposed to have been "extensively tested in the lab." Still has humidity readings much too high, and the system still reports almost 100% chance of rain 98% of the time. I'm done.

Good Morning Mitchell,
We are very sorry to learn that the humidity issue has continued with the replacements. I have sent an email to you directly, please let me know if I can assist you any further.

I di have to say that Jenny's email to me was very fair and reasonable, and I appreciate it. I told her, and I'll report here, that the humidity indication has become more accurate. The rain forecasting is still somewhat excessive but I can live with that as long as the humidity is accurate. Thanks for Acurite's good customer support.
