“Please be advised that Acu-Link web bridge firmware version 112 is ready for general distribution. This update will begin to automatically roll out to Acu-Link web bridges Monday, November 14th at 6:00pm CDT. This update corrects the locking-up issue that has been reported by many users.
The update can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes or longer depending on your Internet connection speed. You should not have to do anything during the update, but be aware that you should also not interrupt the update once it has started.
Note: After the version 112 update has occurred from time to time you may notice that the web bridge indicator lights will both stay on solid for up to a minute. This is normal to the operation of the bridge and should be no cause for concern.
Thank you for your continued patience as we work through the remaining Acu-Link web bridge firmware issues.”

I have a 01050C located at our vacation place that was on the air for about a week, then disappeared on 10/24 never to be heard from again. I haven't been able to get back to reset it. Should I expect v112 to wake it up?
Assuming it doesn't wake up, and it'll be nearly Thanksgiving before I can tend to it, is there anything I should do other than unplug everything for a while, then plug it back in? I'm wondering that since it seems to be locked up if it received the update, how I can tell for sure either way, and how to force the update when I do get up there to service it (if it didn't get it automagically). -

My bridge was updated sometime yesterday and so all is working well.
Thanks Jeff -

Model 01050 - I have had this a little more than a month.
I am having the same trouble as the following:
http://support.acurite.com/acurite/to...
I have entered the # manually but the bridge will not work and the lights stay on all the time. The update has apparently done nothing.
I have followed suggestions, but No recognition whatsoever.

Good Morning rev.mikefink,
It sounds as though the bridge is not communicating and therefore has not received the update. Have you tried resetting the bridge but pressing and holding the Register button for 12 seconds? You will then want to wait a minimum of 30 minutes for the bridge to receive the new firmware updates. -
-
Did it again, and there are still "no bridges to display" and one light is on all the time.

Simple question: Where do I go find the firmware version of the bridge?
-
Hi VictorN,
To locate the firmware version currently running on your bridge you will first need to locate the IP Address for your router. This is generally located within the instruction manual. Type the IP address into your browser. From your local router page locate the MAC address and IP Address for your bridge. Type the bridge IP address into the browser. On the bridge local page you should be able to view the current firmware version. -
